As it was mentioned before I’m a certified life coach with specialization in panic attack prevention. My goal is simple: I want to make sure that anyone who suffers from panic attack will get back to its normal life. Noone is born with this problem; it was acquired during the life. Consequently, it can be reversed and fixed. And trust me, it will be. How will you do it? By using the innovative approach, called the keyword method. On the first page of this website, I already introduced this method to you. However, let’s briefly review it once again. After all, repetition is considered a fundamental principle of learning. Panic attack in its basis has a fear. Initial fear that leads to the attack. (Sometimes, however, panic attack starts without any specific fear/trigger). Often panic attack is followed by different symptoms, such as rapid and pounding heart rate, chest pain, nausea, abdominal distress, sweating, etc. These symptoms can create secondary fears such as fear of heart attack, fear of loosing control, fear of dying. For example, fear of driving can lead to panic attack that will be followed by symptoms like chest pain and a fear of car crash. So, how the keyword method addresses this issue? Each fear can be described by words. More precisely keywords. Or specific phrase.

Now, let’s stop talking for a minute about fears and move to the phenomenon of monotony and how it affects our brain. First, the synonym of monotony is repetition. And our brain can not function in a normal way if the repetition is done for more than 30 minutes. In this case the brain will automatically come to a state of stupor. This is an interesting state of mind. In this state if the repetition continues for the next 30 minutes our mind will erase negative keywords/phrase that reflects the fear or will program itself if the words/phrase is positive. (This is basically a mind programming for goal achievement, but we will not discuss it here).

So, let's combine repetition of the keyword/phrase and the phenomenon of monotony. The first 10 minutes of verbal or mental repetition of the phrase will go easy. The next 10 minutes you will think what a stupid stuff it is and that the best idea will be to stop right here. The next 10 minutes you will feel slightly depressed, your mood will go down. But after 30 minutes you will start feeling lighter and better. We must continue doing the repetition of the keyword/phrase for the next 30 minutes so the total session will be 60 minutes. Certainly, this one hour of work will affect the level of fear. It can reduce it to zero. If the fear has a strong emotional charge, then the level of fear will be significantly decreased but not eliminated completely. In this case you will need to repeat the practice next day. The same keyword, another 60 minutes of repetition. It must be said that not all people feel light and stay in a very good mood right after one hour practice. Some practitioners feel very tired and want to fall asleep. That's why I strongly recommend to to the practice at home, so in case you feel tired you can go and sleep for an hour or so. One additional important remark. When you practice the keyword method sometimes another keyword will pop up in your head. You will understand that this phrase/keyword is related to your fear. Take a pen and a paper. Write the new keyword/phrase down. You will do the practice with it next time. Get back to the practice with the initial keyword.
